That is a thumbs down for me....It would hurt my heart if one of my children did that to their body....nobody needs to be looking at your navel at 13 or 14...And if you're not planning on running around with your navel exposed to the world...what would be the point of having one....

Don't do it! I did it at 19 and took it out at 22 because I wanted to be a good example for my little girls. If you insist on doing it wait until you are at least 17 or 18. I think the real reason you want a naval piercing is for attention; find a more positive outlet to get the attention you need (ie: build a better relationship with parents, friends, get plugged into church, join the girl scouts). Embrace your age, don't grow up too fast.

you're 17 or 18 and still want it, ask again.

Your still to young .you have to be 16 with parents consent, unless you know people in low places....... Whatever you do don't try it at home. I had a friend that tried to pierce her own belly button, lets just say it didn't work and now their is a ugly scar there:(:(:(:(:(

i had mine at 15 and my mom took 3 yrs of convincin! just prove that u wil make sure it doesnt get infected! cuz thats what most parents worry about! show them how nice it will look and try 2 prove u want it cuz u like it no just because every1 has them!

by being responsible, not getting into trouble, doing jobs around the house, being respectful, getting homework done without being told. The more mature & responsible you act the more privileges you will most likely get.
