Without delving too far into your situation, has your husband considered filing for a domestic violence restraining order against this woman, and listing you and your children as protected parties? This might give you the result you are looking for (to be left alone) in the fastest and least expensive manner.

If you wish to pursue monetary damages, you should consult an attorney to determine whether seeking monetary damages is practical.

In other countries, specifically UK, but not here. Unless you can document and prove a real crime she has committed against you.

Try to get over it and not be a victim - this is not empowering to your life. It will keep the wound open. Take the high road and the less you dwell on it the more it will go away. You are keeping the antagonism alive by dwelling on it.

You and you husband immediately should file a petition for no contact order, then you most assuredly have good grounds for a civil action. Keep book on her every conversation and move, record phone conversations... keep everyhting in writing. When she gets the subpoena for a six figure civil action it most assuredly causes a reality check.

I would go to court and get an injunction against her. If she violates it, she can be arrested.

Since you are not the subject of all this, I don't know if you have legal standing to sue. You will have to consult a lawyer.

Your husband probably has to be the one to take any affirmative legal action.

Inquire as to the anti stalking laws in your state.

This sounds like the movie w/ Michael Douglas and Glenn Close (can't recall the name). I hope hubby thinks twice before his next adulterous adventure. Good luck!

You can file suit against anyone you want for whatever reason. If you want to WIN, you'll have to prove your case. I suggest you get a restraining order to start a paper trail, take pictures and record phone messages from her.

BUT if she was your husbands lover while you were married to him I suggest you leave his cheating a$$ and let him deal with the crazy b!ich by himself.
