Morning sickness usually goes with the territory. However it helps to keep a box of unsalted crackers nearby. Munch on a few before getting out of bed in the morning, and at intervals during the day to have something in your stomach. Believe it or not, you don't feel as sick if your stomach is not completely empty.

Actually, it's a good sign. Progesterone supports the pregnancy in the early weeks, however, it also makes you feel terrible. Once the placenta is fully formed and totally functioning (normally about 12 weeks or so) you should feel better. Try to eat little amounts of food lots of times each day rather than full meals 3 times daily. Vernors helped me a bit as well. Fresh fruit or canned fruit is pretty easy on the stomach also. If something makes you feel ill, definitley avoid it. Scents or flavors especially. Hope you feel better soon!

I do not think anything can prevent morning sickness. BUT I do know that saltine crackers, small apple or something with a high starch content will help.
When I suffered from morning sickness I'd keep crackers by my bed and munch on them before I got out of bed. It helped to reduce the queaziness. Hope it helps you...

I'm in week 20 and have yet to experience morning sickness. But I've heard it's bad and only time will help. I was also told not to eat a bunch of crackers, they are loaded with fat and extra calories. Eat multigrain cheerios.

before you get out of bed nibble on some saltine crackers and sip on water have your bf or husband leave you a few on the night stand and a bottle of cold water. try eating light or if you have late supers move up super time a couple of hours that way there will be less in your belly when you wake up. drinking water helps digest your food quicker. so drink plenty of water avoid smells that make you queezy like for me eggs and hot dogs. it might not get rid of it completley but it did help. oh and if you can avoid midnight snacks that helped me alot id feel very hungry in the mornings but it helped with my morning sickness

I think that is not something you can controle. I have three children and had done everything to not get sick but the doctors said that is all has to
do with your hormones. Good luck with your pregnantsy.
