INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Pacers have announced an eight-player deal with the
Golden State Warriors.

Al Harrington, Stephen Jackson, Sarunas Jasikevicius, and Josh Powell will go to Golden State.

In exchange, the Pacers get Mike Dunleavy, Troy Murphy, Ike Diogu and Keith McLeod.

What do you folks think?

I am from Indianapolis and the only thing that I don't mind about this trade is that Stephen Jackson is gone because he was quickly becoming more of a hassle than Artest was (if that is possible). How could Donnie Walsh think it was a good idea to get rid of Al Harrington who was signed to score points and take pressure off of Jermaine O'Neal? Also they trade Sarunas Jasikevicius who was great off the bench for Indiana and is a great 3 point shooter. I know the players Indiana is getting are good and will help out, I just hope it won't take long for the team to be a team that can go far in the playoffs. I hope that answers your question.

Indiana got the better players but Golden State will have better gains out of the two after the trade. They needed someone in the post and I think that Al Harrington is the man for it. We'll just have to wait and see.

This is my first time hearing about this, but it seems like Indiana is trying to clean house in order to rebuild.

well i think it helps neither team because why does golden state need more guards with j-rich and baron davis. and why does indiana need more big men with Jermaine O'Neal. both of these teams will stay average.
