I can't tell by the photo, but there is a good chance your platy is pregnant. It is very likely though that all the babies will be eaten by the other fish unless you separate her before they're born. You will have to remove her from the fry as soon as they are born, or she'll eat them too!

Right now, you have too many fish in your aquarium! The rule of thumb is one gallon to each inch of fish. Your fish are probably 2-3 inches each, so at most you should have two.

First of all I agree with the others in saying that you have too many fish for that size of an aquarium. You're probably right at the limit of a 10 gallon.

Second, guppies and platies cannot make babies together. I believe guppies and mollies together could as well as swordtails with platies. So I guess you could say its OK to let them do whatever they're doing. It is possible that your fish are just stressed and therefore chasing the others since it is such a small aquarium for that many fish.

Your platy might be pregnant and your aquarium is too small. Don't put more than a couple of fish in a tank that small.

Fish can die from pressure of the being pregnant however it would were pressure as a result of loss of area. Ideally she do not need long past within the breeding web but as this may have triggered plenty of pressure now not having the gap she wanted.
