I buy 87 Octane. Check your owners manual. My van takes 87 Octane, but some vehicles take 90 Octane. If you dont' have to use higher octane, don't buy it. The profit margin is higher and your car won't run that much better.

I buy the highest I can get (92 here) , because my car has a supercharger, and need the octane to not knock. It can damage this particular engine to run less, but other vehicles can do just fine on 87 octane fuel, if it is not modified or just stock.

the cheap one 87 i think, it's all the same thing, i saw it on tv, all the octane makes no difference in gas milage or performace, unless you drive a sports car that only takes the high octane, but it's only build that way to sell more experesive gas

I buy 87, which is the mid grade. I would buy the cheapest gas possible, but the owner's manual for my car recommends 87. If it is too low for the engine, you can experience knocking and put extra wear on your engine.

87 - I wanted to try the 100 octane but I was scared what it would do to my little Hyundai.
