Help please! Is there anyone who knows how to get rid of NETSCAPE, have gone through the normal routine of uninstalling, and it left me with 2 static pop ups, asking me if I really want to get rid of netscape,which I can't get off the screen,and the netscape icons keep reinstalling themselves, would be grateful for any help. thanks in anticipation!

ok no problem. reboot ur pc nd keep pressing f8 u will get selection to go to safe mode. when in safe mode uninstall it..

Under start, search, and type in netscape,that should bring up some files to delete,and you might like to run something like ccleaner to get rid of the bits and pieces left over.

That seems to be a problem with Netscape 7.1 and 7.2. I don't know which you have, but I found this article describing what sounds like the problems you have. I hope this helps!
