The people who would open something like this would not pay attention to the warnings anyway.
You cannot protect people from their own stupidity.

I always send e-mails that I have confirmed as true to the people in my address book only. For the record, anyone interested in looking at pictures of Osama Bin Laden being hanged or captured deserves to have their computer crashed, because that's just plain sick. If you belong to any message boards, or groups, forward the message there, along with information from Snopes (or another source you used to verify the e-mail) along with information from one of the anti-virus companies on how to fix the problem. Also, everyone should be running some sort of security and/or protection software on their computer which will in many cases disable, clean, or delete this type of e-mail attachment automatically.

I went on snopes. You're right, but I wouldn't worry too much. They said it was "outdated."
