When you are in a new relationship, or a new marriage, or someone new has moved in to live with ya (probably just a roommate, dorm, etc)

When do you stop the "HAVE to & MUST" always look perfectly good attitude, and starting acting naturally, dressing when you want to and looking a mess if you feel like it?

Just was wondering how it is for different people, so tell me! ;)

By the way, it's not an advice Question :)

Just want to know how it is and how long it takes for everyone, because I'm sure most people go through this at the very 'start' of a relationship :)

I do it right from the start. Being real will avoid the delusion of being someone different and raise the likelihood that the relationship will work.

I no its nice to go out with all your make-up on and nice clothes but really i think if you are seeing a new partner and yes first dates are vital to look your best and make good inpreshions but after a while about 2 weeks if you are seeing eachother nearl every other day then maybe i would say now you should start to not look a total mess even lough sometimes its nice to but jst dress down slightly on more frequent acashions oviously if hes taking you out though go and get your hair done and make yourself feel good.

You should never be met with this dilemma because you should always be yourself when entering, staying in and maintaining a relationship.

To feel there's a time you can kick back and "be yourself" means you have put on a facade and have been a fake and a phony when you first met this person...you should always be yourself regardless.

It's unfair to have someone fall in love with the person you tried to make yourself out to be and once they're into the relationship turn into the "real" you which might be undesirable.

That's why relationships fail....

Be yourself so someone can fall in love with the real you...then it will last a lifetime.

Hmm, well, with my current boyfriend it was a gradual thing. For the first month of living together I always straightened my curly hair, because I hated it. But I stopped that. I also wore make-up almost all the time. I even slept in it for the first 2 weeks. Then I stopped that. I still have things I'd rather he not see me do or ways I'd rather not have him see me look; and we've been together almost 2 years.

For everyone saying that you have to be your true self: where does that begin? I guess truly we all stink, but we take showers to keep the smell away. Truly we all have messed up hair, because we wake up with it all over the place, but we comb it. And I bet you'll say that that is just grooming and everyone does it. Well, what may seem like a necessity of grooming for you may seem extravagant to them. So, everyone has their own opinions.

I always try to look my best, but that's for nobody else's benefit but my own. There is no "have and must" with me and my husband (together since we were 13 - now 29), I do not clean the house in my suit and high heels, but I try to still look nice, even if I'm dressed comfortably...

the techniques-set era is coming lower back!!!!! JK, JK, the techniques-set era replace right into a one time element for WWE because of the fact they have been getting crushed by WCW interior the rankings conflict. the techniques-set era is long long gone and could on no account come again. purely because of the fact Rock makes use of a variety of of television-14 language, does not make WWE television-14. The Simpsons is PG and that they have got some language like D*mn. Blood might properly be shown in WWE, yet not a variety of of blood. WWE is PG not G.
