just go there and your questions should be answered. Its basically like choosing a best answer except opposite. If you see a very good question you can star it. That way everyone can see it in this new category they are making.

its new just came on at like 8 in the morning it means they like ur question so 6 people liked ur question maybe they got tired of getting thumbs down its like the same as a thumbs up i like it.

Nothing happens, the stars represent how others rated your answers. The better your answer is to others, the higher the star rating you receive.

The stars mean that a question has been deemed interesting by someone. It puzzled me at first too.

Go to the top right where it says "blog" and click on that and it will tell you everything about the stars.
