We have now been reduced to the level of the Romans---killing people for pure entertainment.

No, is not the price of a Wii.

It's the price of a few points of rating for a dumbass radio station who didn't have anything better to do than ask people to do self humilliating things for a poor prize.

Let's face it. It's the radio's fault. A nurse called the show to warn the stupid DJ about the risks of water intoxication....and guess what? He didn't told anything to participants. He even aloud the call (obviously the most important one) to go on air.

It is different finally.

It is not the same to hold a contest of "Win a toy for your kids doing something stupid" than "Win a toy for your kids doing something stupid and...by the way....there's a fair chance you die trying".

I'm sure they probably didn't know that was going to happen, that's why they used water. BUT, that is NO excuse. They should have doen research before pulling such a prank. They inevitably got what the deserved, and a lifetime to think about that poor girl.

I heard about that, how awful. But who could of thought that water could kill you that quick.. The price of life seems like it's been steadily going down the toilet in America unfortunately..let's hope it's not a continuing fad..

Don't blame the Wii, blame the radio station that thought testing the strength of a human bladder was a good idea.

depends on race, age, education, etc. At this point in my studies, I am worth about 100k in debt, but my lifetime earnings estimate is huge. We'll see.
EDIT:
I was under the impression that 2 gallons was impossible to drink, due to the fact that my friend drank 1 gallon of milk in an hour and ended up throwing it all up moments later. How did this lady hold it all down?

You sell yourself either way too cheap, or are asking way too much. Don't know you well enought to determine which it is. But, as a child of God, you have far more worth than you are seeing. YBIC
