I think it depends very much on the situation & age, as well as how the children are brought up. I belive there is an internal instinct that tells us right from wrong.
I was at a flea market once when a child about 3 or 4 was lost from her mommy. She was crying hysterically but would not go to anyone around her, so I tried & she came to me, I took her to the office, her mommy came just about that time.

I think you're right. My kids say they would never go with a stranger, but if the stranger made a good offer, I fear they'd go. They're older now, so hopefully we're safe. Now I just have to worry about freaky *** kidnappers.

I believe that's true. Most children are raised to obey their elders. It's sad because we live in a world where you just can't trust people any more.
