This is best time of year for movies, at theaters. Because every studio etc. is vying for Oscar nominations, most everything released last year is released. Because it's just-after Xmas, you can also rent earlier releases of '06. Whether it snows or not, try and get outdoors - see if you can do something topical with the NFL playoffs/Super Bowl about to happen. Even with 4-6 girlfriends, you can have a fun game of touch-football and try to do what the boys do? (it can attract boys, too) Organize it online, or with some Group. Anyone can tell you to go shopping, to malls, etc. -- but, if you're looking for something that's also good for the soul? Visit the local senior centers, or your grandparents or an aunt or uncle -- let them know it, and show up with desert. Visiting family is a rapidly-disappearing function of humanity in suburban America, as families move and drift apart. You'd be amazed at the lasting benefits.

have a w*nk or watch Jermaine or do both! Or you could just wrap up warm and have a stroll, there are some fine sights to see in this weather, like all the puddles and leaves and ducks!

join one of those polar bear meets if you live anywhere near the coastline.
alternatively, go see every possible movie, or try all the restaurants and create a blog with your reviews...
join a gym and attend every class they offer.
try your hand at knitting... or cooking or baking....and test it out on your family/friends/co-workers or any other willing victim
become one of those mall-walkers
go for a long drive
