Have you gotten a violation for something that doesn't really violate anything or anyone?

Of the 60+ violations I have gotten, most were truly specious ("Not a question", "point-gaming", "adult content")
I even got one that never detailed the violation!

I do sympathise.
I have got quite a few violations over the last few days which I don't agree with, and appear to make no sense. I think I have roused one individual's wrath - but who knows.
I don't know that knowing the person would help - though I can see the temptation - things get fraught enough around here anyway once one starts worrying about violations.
Takes away all the fun of visiting - and I am here for my own entertainment so it's best just to bear that in mind and carry on amusing yourself answering/asking questions and browsing the site.

Yeah. A couple times I asked a question (it wasn't a stupid one or anything) and I got a violation notice. I guess people just report other people for shi!ts and giggles. lol

I always get that "not a question or an answer", as if they can't think of anything better to report me for. I sure you and everyone who answers this will end up getting reported, just cuz we're talking about it.

Oh yes, all my violations are for stuff like that. Drives me nuts. I wouldn't want to see who gives them to me because I would retaliate HARD.

Yes. And I appealed it because the girl who did it threatened to do it in her question so I called her out on it and she reported me. I think it is the only control she has in her small little world.
