Even if i have just a few drinks I feel completely braindead and out of it the next day. Its not a hangover either. I know what that is. I don't feel like I want to throw up...I just feel like half of my brain is missing and like I can't do much that day. Is there something wrong with my health that I might not know about that is making me feel this way after I drink?

Because you are dehydrated.

Also when you drink the receptors in your brain are blocked by alcohol so you dont feel the same and certain things can feel off.

I have only once ever had a hangover. but almost every time i drink i feel that way for the first half of the next day. i am a light weight though. I'm lighter then a feather so i know mine is most likely drinking too much. although i can't give any advice for it your not the only one who gets that feeling.

It could be that you are drinking more than your body is able to handle. I can drink a lot and never get drunk, however I found that sometimes I would wake up and feel exactly as you described above. I suggest you either stop or cut down on your drinking.

Your brain is doing what's it supposed to do--it's been poisoned.
Alcohol is NOT good for anyone.

I keep my drinking to wine WITH my meal, and do not drink for drinking's sake.

I would be very cautious about drinking anything with those symptoms. Have you been checked for diabetes?

you need more vitamin B. Alcohol deprives the liver from making enough vitamin B to sustain the body.
