Wait until the mud has dried and then brush it off with a suede brush. Alternatively you can wash it off whilst it is still wet and then brush with a find nail brush. Will come up a treat. Use the last method all the time when I wore suede shoes all the time.

When the mud has dried thoroughly brush off as much as you can with a soft brush. If there are remaining stains, get a suede cleaning product at a shoe store and follow the directions. Best of luck with it.

First use a soft tooth brush to brush off the excess dry dirt...then go to your local shoe shop and buy some suede cleaner...follow directions on container...they also sell suede protector at the shoe shop...it's a good investment. Good Luck!

Wait till it dries, then brush off with a suede brush - you can buy them from shoe shops, or supermarkets.
They look like wooden toothbrushes, but the bristles are copper wire

You can buy a suede brush, wooden handle and really short bristles, try the cleaning aisle in supermarkets, or pop into your local cobbler, they should have one.
Wait for the mud to dry totally before even touching them!

Did this myself yesterday! I used the off (soft) brush from my boot cleaning kit. The mud must be totally dry and just use long sweeping strokes - try not to rub - it makes it worse

Long nails can be harbingers for bacteria, particularly if they are artificial, but they will are good for scratching and opening those little foil wrapped containers that are so hard to get directly into.
