Ask your doctor if you're concerned...I always waited until after at least the third month (when vitals are done developing) and make sure that you have plenty of ventilation...leave the bathroom door open if you do it at home and have a fan pointing away from you to suck the bad smell out...

They say you should wait until after the first trimester to color your hair even though a very minimal amount is absorbed into the blood stream, if any. Most of the fetal development occurs in the first trimester. Make sure you also use a well ventilated room b/c the fumes are not good to inhale a lot of, and it could make you queasy.

I colored my hair, but waited until I was about 5 months pregnant. I didn't do it in the first trimester. My hair came out fine. I also asked my doctor and she said it was "okay".

As long as you're not using ammonia or a bleach product in the first trimester you're ok. But if you can hold off until your 4th month you should. Avoid anything and everything that even has the slightest chance of hurting your baby during that very crucial first trimester.

i think it would be ok as long as your not breathing in all of the chemicals. when i dyed my hair at 7 months pregnant i just had a fan near me. everything was fine for me and afterwards.

call your doctor and ask some will ok it depending on the chemicals used but some might be against it because the chemicals and its always better to be safe than sorry because some of the chemicals can be absorbed threw the scalp so ask your doctor first

I colored my hair through both of my pregnancies and had no issues. Even my doctor said it was okay, just to be careful not to breathe in the fumes.

I wouldn't do it at all, but definantly not when your two months along. I would just wait until after youve had your baby just to be safe.
