Nope...unless she's trying to pay for it with your health insurance. You can get divorced and try to take her off of your plan.

No more than a wife should be able to stop her man from getting snipped.

In the US: In many states a woman can do what she wants. If you are in "regressive" state with antiquated laws, have the procedure done in a state that does allow it.

But I would suggest this. If you are the woman with this problem, just go do it before he can drag it out with lawyers and courts. If you let him drag it out and go to court, it might be legal to do the operation but you would be in violation of a court injunction to do it. Once done, however, I doubt he could ever force any procedure to have them "untied".

If you are the man and want to stop your woman, the sooner you get a lawyer, the more likely you can delay her. Ultimately I figure you will fail but not before much legal angst and expense.

In any event if it gets to court, I'd bet a diverse is not far behind. Either that or a guest shot on Dr. Phil or Oprah. Hopefully not Maury or Jerry Springer!

In Iran (or most of the Muslim world and possibly also many places in Africa): It would surprise me if he couldn't stop her. And in China, if the state commanded it I doubt even she could stop it.

the tubs in the house yes. that is his house too and you cant go messing up the plumbing.
as for tubes in you well i dont know if anyone has ever brought that up with the courts . i suppose since marriage is a partner ship he should have the right to some input and this might be grounds for divorce if he wanted more children or he is aposed to artificial birth control
i think however that human law would allow you to go ahead

As far as I know there is only a restriction for age and if the person has only one living child. My first child died and after my second, I wanted my tubes ties and was 25, but they wouldn't allow it at the hospital. I don't beleive anyone has a legal right to control anyones body bu the person it belongs to.

None at all what so ever. Her body is her personal property. You
do not own her, nor she.

You haveno say in the matter.

if that decision is causing problems in keeping the marriage- you file with the reason of "entering the marriage in the act of fraud" meaning when dating she led you to believe she was wanting, willing, and able to have children with you, thus ecouragine you to go forth with into the marriage, and then states no i am having my tubes tied- thats decietful.

but you have no say legally as to whether she can have her tubes tied

A tub is large and generally inflexible. How many does your wife have? Why does she want to tie them up?

Seriously though - her tubes tied.... well in most countries you have no rights to stop her from doing that or almost anything else. You DO have the right to divorce her if you want kids and she doesn't.

Of course not!! Just like she has no say if he does. If she doesn't want children, then by all means, get her tubes tied!! We sure wouldn't want any children in the world by mothers who don't want them in the first place!! But of course, that would be in Canada and the USA. I have no idea what Iran or any of those "men are gods" kind of country thinks though.

You mean tubes. I don't know about legal rights but it is something that they need to be discussing together. Is there a medical reason, do they already children, so many questions.
