I had my Membranes stripped this morning at 11am and it's 2:15 now and I'm feeling lower back pains (dull but present), and more pressure down there. God I hope this is the beginning of labor. My vision is a little blury too and my shoulders are achy . ADVICE anyone?? I'm 40 weeks, 3 cm dilated and 50% efaced, my due date is 1/19/07 (this friday).

I had mine stripped at present at 37 weeks. I have gestational diabetes and regularly have early deliveries. Sometimes brought on, many times no longer. This is my moment time having them stripped and it's uncomfortable on account that the medical professional's hand is deep within of you and she or he is seperating your membranes out of your cervix. But it's over rapidly and after being sore for a at the same time, you'll both begin contractions quickly and get hard work began, your bag of waters might holiday, or not anything will occur. It simply is dependent. Everyone is one of a kind. I desire it does get you began, I am hoping for the equal factor. My bag of waters busted the final time and we bought to have our child that day. Today I am sore however not anything has occurred but. Just a couple of contractions.

You may or may not go into labor, and cramping is associated w/ the membranes being stripped. I had mine stripped 3 times (a week apart) and didn't go into labor on my own-I had to be induced.

your going into labor i had this done and had the same symptoms. kick back and relax. dont fret over anything. just kick back you might not actually go into actual labor for a while maybe not until tomarrow. take it easy and wait for contractions or your water to break. it will come i bet you. good luck and have a good delivery and a healthy baby!!!!!!!
