I found $20 on the floor at a mall on my birthday so I kept it

No because what are the odds he won't keep it for himself? He probably will end up keeping it and won't put it in a lost and found so why shouldn't I keep it then? Also if someone comes to claim it who is to say it is there's? And, the person who lost it I highly doubt is saying to themselves let me check the supermarket and see if it is in lost and found no their first thought in their mind would be ohh well I'm out $20.00.

heck no lol..i'd buy some chips with that money...gotta enjoy life ya know..on the otherhand, if i see the money fall out of someone's pocket, then i wouldnt be so greedy, but give it back to him/her
