Haven't you ever seen the plows and salt trucks waiting on the side of the road well before a storm blows through? They get there ahead of team and wait. If I were a plow driver, I'd have some good books, a full thermos and a portable dvd player all right beside me.

He probably has a plow on his personal vehicle or at least four wheel drive. Often, snow plow drivers are already at work when bad weather arrives because they are preparing to tackle it. At least here in Minnesota.
