converter that would make it fit into a standard household plug.

There is no converter made for this. The standard household plug is much to small, it's made for 110 to 130 volts, and can carry 16 amps. A dryer plug is much larger and is wired for 220 volts. If the wall plug is a 3 way receptacle it can be changed to a 4 way, or the dryer cord changed to a 3 way. Most dryers have a wiring diagram to follow on the back cover or inside the cover. Replacing the dryer cord is the cheapest way, if you have a 3 way wall plug.

The dryer is run on 220V, so no, you can't get a converter for it. They do make a 3 prong 220V plug, the pattern is kind of in a triangle.
If your house or where ever you are isn't wired for 220, you'll need to get an electrician to get you the service needed for your dryer.

If you are talking about trying to plug your dryer into a standard outlet like the one you plug a light or television in then no their isn't a converter for that.

Don't do it!!!!!
As mentioned, a standard receptacle is only 110/130 volts.
Even if you swap 220 /240 breakers at the panel, the existing wiring in the wall is not rated for dryer current = big time fire hazard!!!!!!!!!
Have great respect for electricity...if ANY doubt......call a pro
Good luck and be safe
