All you can do is be there for her and comfort her. It's nice that you care and your concerned. If it's got to do with her monthly you could get her some mydol or something like that but if it's just regular cramps then just be there and comfort her.

Tell her to get over it, she's gotta face the world for the rest of her life with this. And you might not always be around to give her "cuddles". AND there is no reason to worry... women give birth, cramps once a month are certianly not going to kill her, either, or there'd be a LOT less people on this planet.

What she can do is Start EXERCISING regularly... the extra endorphins from a good cardio workout will reduce the pain of cramping. This worked for me throughout high school, until I didn't have the time in college to train as often as I could in high school. She can also take Advil or Motrin for the pain and bloating. She can track her periods on a chart so she gets an idea of when the cramps may be coming on and take the Advil/Motrin/pain-killer-of-choice before she gets hit with cramps. Or she can do what tons of other chicks do, and start taking birth control to control her periods and virtually eliminate monthly cramping. She'll need a parent to go with her to get the prescription at her age.

This is a common problem. I suffered with that for many years . After going to several doctors, I found a lady doctor who started me on a birth control pill which cured me of all symptoms immediately. I do recommend an immediate assessment, (for your girlfriend) and if possible by a female doctor, or else she could be in for many years of suffering like myself.
In the meantime a heating pad/tylenol will help.

What a lovely boyfriend you are!

Your doing everything right so far. Cuddles, be patient if she's having a terrible day and maybe make her up a hot water bottle to press against her abdomen, and if she likes chocolate, bring her chocolate!

Hope this helps.

Trust me on this one. I'm waaaaaay older than you and have learned over the years that there is only one way to deal with this. DON"T. No matter what you do it will be wrong. You can't make the pain go away so just grin and bear it. If they become severe, some doctors will prescribe birth control pills to make it a little easier on her.

your on track be there for her take her mind off of it. get her some hot water bottles and or electric blankets to put n her lower abdomen. could she be pg ? for her to take. herbal teas real ones will help you to relax sometimes. less cramps if the muscles are relaxed. i use pamprin when i have really bad cramps but she might prefer midol. ask her. good luck. and get her lots of Chocolate. it really does help on to feel better.

Try a heating pad, some tea with ginger or chamomile tea. And suggest she exercise throughout the entire month that always seemed to help me.

If she's not allergic to Ibuprofen(Advil) then 400-800mg twice a day should help, a hot water bottle and gentle understanding cannot hurt either. Give her loving support and chocolate can't hurt. . .

give her three advil and have sex. seriously.
the advil will help reduce the inflamation of the blood vessels in her uterus that are causing a feeling of pressure.
having sex, or having an orgasm brought on in any fashion, will help her uterus contract and lessen the pain she is experiencing.
cramps will also be reduced in severity of she stays hydrated and makes sure not to consume much caffine.
