I don't quite like it because you can view who stared it. I liked the thumbs up and thumbs down system better.
What are you opinions?

I don't use the thumbs up or down so I don't think the star system for me will do anything for me.

I feel it is more positive than the other system. This opinion is based on the the star systems better call for a solution by way of more larger attention to topic, if need be, as through the higher marking of stars shows a stronger opinion as to topic, both demographic and democratic focus in reasoning also follows, by vote, rather than just placing a negative stamp on an individuals opinion as to topic being discussed, thereby making its democratic diversity as to opinion and solution to topic, less skewed by those who may be followers, and may just pay attention to hateful or near-sighted views, and so the need for address towards a certain issue, is again reinforced by more diversely shared and understood as to overall view of topic through this new system.

I totally agree with you, I don't like it at all. I saw earlier where you can actually give yourself a star. I really miss the thumbs up/down. They shouldn't of took them away, maybe they just could of added the new star thing.

i don't like or understand the star system either, i prefer the thumbs up or thumbs down system better too .

I like the thumb system a lot better because it allows people to show displeasure over rude and uncalled for questions. If they do stars, they should do flames also.
