I accidentally clicked on the star (showing one person had starred my question and I wanted to see who it was) , then I clicked on "show who starred" and I was one of two people who starred my question. Doesn't it stand to reason that I would find my own question interesting?

Yep. It did it again. I just starred this question to test it and once again I find that I find my own question interesting.

we shouldn't be allowed to star our own questions. starring your own question defeats the purpose of having others to suggest (by starring) that your question is interesting, but at the same time you are also starring the question.
