Unlike things such as washing-machines, which only have one use, computers have thousands of uses. You're best to learn just one thing well then offer it as a service on your own small website. You can accept payment via Paypal (which in turn accepts Paypal and credit/debit card payments).

For example, you could learn to digitally restore old family photos with rips, tears and stains. You scan in the old photo using a flat-bed scanner or printer/scanner. You learn how fix the faults in the picture in a photo-editing program, such as Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, then you print out a new version on glossy paper or send it by email to a photo-printing service and/or email the restored file to the client. This is just one example of a service you could provide. See 2nd link for companies that do it already and for tutorials.

You can also sell goods and services on eBay.

Another thing you can do is create an 'Information Product', a file for paid download from your website, such as an eBook Electronic Book as a .pdf file, a useful consumer guide, a How To Guide for something, a subscription neswletter for a hobby or business thing, etc.

Ask on here where to look for technical help for websites, eBay selling, etc.

If you come across a way of making money that seems too good to be true, just check it out by typing the name of it plus 'scam' into google. It usually turns up lots of opinions about it.

If you want to make a little or no money and spend a lot of time doing it, surveys are a great time waster. If you want to make good money then it will take more than computer work.

Most people who want to work on line fail because they don't know how to effectively work with other people, no or bad training, or a bad program design (meaning a comp plan not designed to make money easily).

I offer free help to anyone wanting to get started in a home based business, not these cashcrate, survey, answer questions type gimmick programs. You can reach me through my profile if you would like some good free resources to help get you started.

Have you tried to sign up for any of the survey sites? It takes quite a bit of time to fill out all the different kinds of polls that are floating around the Internet. However, it is the easiest way I know of to get started. Just type 'paying survey' or 'paid survey' into your favorite search engine to get started.

Internet is so essential nowadays that it becomes a part of your day-to-day routine. You can read the newspaper, look at your email, upgrade your Facebook status, buy online for Christmas presents, Skype with pals, search on Google and so on however the most crucial is that you can also get a daily paid job, a job where you get paid easily with no headache.
