Why do you think this happens?

Granted, I know there are and will be exceptions to this rule, but why do critics usually think like this?

Yay i noticed that.
It's probably because the anime sets such a high bar that when it's done to live action they either make it sooo corny and lame that it's almost impossible to watch, or so computer graphiced that they might as well have left out the actors and done it on computer.
I feel sorry for the actors though, cause they never live up to the animation. *tear*....

Thats because PIxar is administered by 2 human beings, those different video clips you reported come from anybody ELSE in hollywood. There are 2 men who run pixar and they write the scripts and performance all administration over the ingenious procedure. no longer some thing receives placed into the action picture that they dont opt for in. in the meanwhile, different production agencies that get their hands on video clips like "scooby Doo", those men have dozens of folk poking on the tale, attempting to get their "bit" in; so it impacts the overall fulfillment of the action picture.
