I usually run them separate, but if I can save time doing it at the same time, I will.....and how bout scanning with other programs simultaneously? thanks for your input.

you should run these two programs seperatly as they are both looking for the same thing and running them both together would cause conflicts, you could run say adaware and an anti virus together because they are looking for different things

Never tried it...But I do not see a reason that you could not...Although you may get some odd returns. :) Like if they are trying to get at the same file at the same time or they are scanning the same area of the Hard Disk there may be an error.

I tried that out of curiosity, and they found each other, each saying the other was spyware. I just run them separately and they find different things. While they are doing that, I'm off getting a cold drink, or playing a game, or whatever.

I run all my anti's simultaneously and monitor the cpu usage and the page file usage thru task manager and so far no conflicts or excessive system slowdowns.
