You need to talk to him and let him know that what he is doing is making you feel bad. He probably the only one who can cheer you up since he is the that made you feel bad.

Everyone has their bad days.
Usually you take out your frustration out on the ones you know won't leave you. Try to look at it as a compliment..I know thats a werid way of looking at it. It just means he trust you to let him vent without you leaving him.
