Accoring to the National Weather Sevice it offically uns from June 1 to December 1st and peaks out in early Septmeber. Of course you can have a hurricane in May or Demcember also as we all know, but they are rare. It is almost unheard to have a hurricane in any other month not listed. I would avoid August through Ocotober if you are very concerned, but most other months should be just fine. As typically the Bahamas get the worst hurricanes in the fall and not summer.

I think its from like June till November. I went in May last year and the weather was beautiful. Very warm, and no chance of a hurricane at that time. You can research on google and just put hurricane season/months and it will pull it up. Any time in the summer months you are going to take a chance of a hurricane.
