If it's one thing you should learn in college is that some professors are useless teachers. They do nothing but critic you, based on your test scores. You may be a bright kid, who's really not a bad student but instead ended up with a bad professor.

My advice, take the class over with another professor. Talk to people who have taken the class and see which professor goes the extra mile for you to learn.

PS - if it is not your major, sometimes a D can be waived and you can move on (talk to your advisor about that).

Ok, first off, you need to report the bad behavior of this teacher. Talk to the administrators, or go to student services. What this teacher did is totally unacceptable.

And its not HIS book. Its yours. You paid for it.

Please, please don't let this make you drop out. I tried college in my early-mid 20s. I wish I hadn't let my junior college teachers turn me off. One teacher would show up to class every time over an hour and a half late. He was finally, finally fired, but by then I felt if he doesn't care, why should I?

I also tried to take Business 101 and everyone in the class would always have the correct answers except me. That was frustrating and embarrassing.

Now at 37 I feel like I've made a huge mistake dropping out and feel like its way too late.

Take a break from math classes and substitute it with something fun and less stressful like an art class.

College is there for a reason: its a learning experience, and learning takes time. And stick with it.

I'm struggling to find good work. Nowadays everyone wants a college degree- even those who hire janitors, I couldn't believe it. Employers won't even talk to you without one.

Hang in there....

Perhaps you can take other classes while you get a tutor for the math class and take that later. You have the book so you know what the content of the class is and can study ahead of time to give yourself more time to learn the materials.

Don't let one class cause you to drop out of college.

No college will settle for you and not utilising a level or a GED. purely tricky it out at college a speedy time longer. have confidence me that's going to likely be lots extra rewarding to circulate the extra suitable 3 hundred and sixty 5 days than circulate threw each and all of the crimson tape to get your GED. if your having concern get tutoring that's going to help you to allot. yet do not supply up, that's going to likely be a much better project then you truly understand interior the destiny.

You don't like to study. It's not about liking it, it's about doing it and getting that passing grade. I doubt that your work is given on Monday and tested on Wednesday. That's a horrible exaggeration because you don't want to sit down and study. Sounds like you care what your classmates think of you rather than your studying. Let me put it this way, if you dont plant your butt in that seat and study you might as well work in Mc Donalds.
