After accidently giving out some false information regarding my schedule to my boss, I now have to approach him and ask him to revise my work hours once more (thankfully, for only one work day). He's a cool guy, but I still dread inconviniencing him in this way, and the consequences that may occur as a result. Plus, I'm a naturally shy person, and I don't enjoy confronting other people in this manner.

How can I come across as cool and confident, and not weak and pathetic?

just go in there with no hesitations stand straight look directly into his eyes and with a clear voice tell him what you want. the worse thing that can happen is he will say no.
