Hi, no matter what you do dont get her seperate gifts!! That is like a major thing. I would take her out on valentines day and give her something sweet like flowers, candy, maybe even jewlery, it depends on how long you have been together and what she likes. Then the following week when her birthday comes around do something different like taking her out to a movie or maybe even dinner after that, Then Give her her birthday present when you feel the time is right.. Let the birthday present come from your heart. Something you feel that you want her to have and she will love.
Hope this helps.

Yes, please don't combine them she will think you are cheap. So on Valentine's take her out to dinner give her some candy, cookie cake and you know the little cute Valentine stuff along with the cute teddy bear. Then on her birthday have her some flowers delivered that way she is least expecting and by that time she will think you combined the gifts all in one which was Valentine day but NOT....have the delivery done that day and later on that night if you know how to cook make her a romantic dinner and watch a movie or take her out to dinner and a movie. Enjoy!!!

well coming from someone who's birthday falls exactly one week after valentine's day, i'd say yes, get her separate gifts. the valentines gift doesn't have to be anything extravagent, just heartfelt. splurge on the birthday if you must. i know i'd appreciate the separation of events.
