At 5'8, only using your height and frame size you are NOT overweight. (No good doctor would say that.) Please see the following two sources which will tell you not only what the medical community believes but other peoples opinion who weigh around your weight.

However, if you have a significant amount of muscle, or a significant amount of fat you could be overweight or underweight. The only way to know is to get your body fat tested. The most accurate way is through water displacement. But if you either use a body fat scale or your measurements, you will get a pretty good estimate, assuming you aren't a super athlete. Tanita sells a really good scale. At 5'5" my healthy weight is 130, I am small framed, BUT have a lot of muscle. Otherwise you can go on this website and use your measurements :

As far as i'm concerned i don't think you're overweight, and those charts with the height and how much you should weigh is absolute nonsense! according to those charts i should weigh about 90lbs! my daughter weighs more than this but she is a size 0!,i taught her from an early age that beauty does come from within and never ever let some stupid chart or comment bring you down,if this continues to bother you,i would suggest you dig a little deeper inside you and ask yourself if you are happy with how you are, because this is what matters most, not other people's opinions, just yours, because in the end all that matters really is you.

BMI-wise, you're fine. You will know if you have extra body fat by whether it's easy to "pinch an inch" while the muscle underneath the part you're pinching is flexed. You can also have a gym or doctor's office get out the calipers to test how much body fat you have.

So no, you're not technically overweight, but you might need to get toned up.

NO you are not overweight.

It is the average weight for a normal person of your height.

Please, ignore the false images that the fashion world and the media are bombarding you with.

Love yourself a little more. Be happy.

The two issues are size and self-esteem. Make sure you address both of them.

BMI and most people say that you are fine.

No, you are not over weight. A real man likes a lady that has some meat on her bones, and makes sex much, much better. So no worrying.

Check your body mass index:

This will tell you where you're at.

I did a check for you and you're dead center of normal for an adult.
