Yes, I still use the manners that I was taught and yes I don't even think about them. It's just a natural thing to do now that I am an adult.

Yes and sort of. I've tweaked them a bit for the 21st century. I wanted eccentric children, so those manners wanted a bit of tweaking. (I've found Georgian bowing to be far more charming than shaking hands, it also keeps the spread of germs down).

I still say Sir and Ma'am (never got into Mz), hold doors open, give up my seat, watch my language, all of them are ingrained. Let this be a lesson to the youngsters.
