I am writing a report for school. It needs to be about noise and interference in cables. Does anyone know any good sites for information on this?

TechWeb's Tech Encyclopedia (see link below). That site has basic definiton-type information for just about everything related to computers and the Internet. At the very least, it should have enough to get you started.
