What is the prerequisit for pre-calculus in most colleges?

I took Introduction to Algebra already and would like to take pre calc and intro to trig this semester

Usually the college looks at your ACT or SAT score and they possibly make you take a mathematics placement exam. Even if you took a math course at high school, you may have to repeate part of it at college.

If you took the intro to alg at college, then you may need to have a C or better in the course to regrister for the pre-calc course. Look in your course catelog or other souce to find the prerequists.
