I am basically asking this question over again, but I meant for the last similar question to this question, as well as this question, be put in "Society & Culture" , but NOT in the "Gay, lesbian, transgendered" category. BTW, I don't hold a personal grudge against anyone who is gay, lesbian, etc.

A man who dresses in womens clothing is called a transvestite. He is not necessarily a homosexual!!! He is labeled as gay because people cannot understand it!!!

A man who wants to become a women isn't gay either...until the sex change then she's a lesbian.

I don't think it's a matter of a man wearing a dress looking gay, it's more that a man wearing a dress looks ridiculous because you just aren't proportioned correctly. And as far as women being able to wear men's clothes, it's just that most men's clothes are derived from women's fashion but made with simpler fabrics and in a less shapely way, therefore, when a women feels less lady like, she tends to go for men's clothes.

They don't make men's clothing like they make women's, but they do make t-shirts, wide legged jeans, boots and jackets for women similar to the men's. So we can get away with shopping in the men's section. You can't go in a store and find dresses, skirts and pumps for men, so therefore if a man is wearing those things, it's not because he could not find his size in the men's section, but because he prefers to shop for women's clothing.

Women can still look attractive and female in men's clothes, but I'm sorry the American view on masculinity does not include men in women's clothes, because they just look gay.
