As much as Jr. high kids would like to believe that they think for themselves, they don't. Everyone is trying to be what they think will get them the most attention. You turn more heads being evil than good. The bad news is that Jr. high is just the beginning. How many good articles do you see in a news paper or on the news? Very few. What you need to do, and the best way to start getting ready for all the days to come, is pay more attention to yourself than you do others. Do what you know is right on the inside. People will always be trying to beat you down regardless of Jr. High, High School, College, or later in your adult life. "When I was younger and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I decided to change only my country. But it too seemed immovable. As I grew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closet to me, but alas the would have none of it. And now, as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realize: If I had only changed myself first, then my example I would have changed my Family. From their inspiration and encouragement, I would then have been able to better my country, and who knows, I may have even changed the world."

Yes, it does suck. Ya just gotta get through it. High school will be better, but high school won't be all joy and roses, either. Ya just gotta get thru it, and ya gotta grab the good stuff along the way. Hang in there.
College is pretty fun, tho. And being a "grown-up" is pretty fun, too. Better sound system, better car, better home, better sex.

because you re in an environment where people don't use their heads, and are oblivious to the stresses and obstacles of the real world. Kids are cruel, heartless, souless little creatures in middle school. So study hard, and ignore all the pointless crap going on around you, and you will achieve so much more than them.

Welcome to puberty! Some may grow older but their immaturity will stay with them for ever. Best bet is to find friends of quality , rather than quantity. I'd rather have 2 or three friends I can trust than 2o or 30 who fake it. Work on your own character and don't let those others get to you. Your the only one who has to face the mirror. Honor yourself and you'll lead a wonderful life.

Hormones have begun to kick in and their bodies are developing faster than their brains. Junior high was the worst part of school for me. It might haunt me for the rest of my life. You could call it the terrible 12's.
