I think u might be. Do u have montgomerys tubercles (sort of whitish, small but prominent bumps around the dark area of your nipple)? If so, then u def. are. they were my first sign a week before my period was even due. U can only get them if u are pregnant or have a hormone imbalance, in other words, they are NOT a period sign. Ive got a feeling u are, but ill keep my fingers crossed for you!

The reason that i knew I was pregnant this time was definitely my sore nipples. I was still nursing my first son, and at first I thought maybe he was just biting me or sucking harder, but one day, I just REALIZED, I was pregnant. Make sense? As far as darker nipples, that happens during pregnancy... And as far as the smells, I hate the increased ability. Even now with a cold, i can smell things from the living room that are on the other side of the house!!! I was blowing my nose the other day, and all of a sudden smelled my body spray, went looking for my son and he was at the front door (at least 16-20 feet away and around a corner) playing with it, just taking the cap off and putting it back on. And I noticed that even before i started showing, i would get a lot more little kids looking at me, and my son acted a little bit more... caring and affectionate towards me. They know....It's sooo wierd! Just like I'm sure if you really think about it, the feeling you have (if you are) especially with a second pregnancy is that YOU just KNOW too.

*LOL* It's definitly normal. I am 11 weeks and 3 days and the super smell is definitly common. I can smell when the people downstairs in another apartment are cleaning or cooking and definitly when they smoke. Light pressure is normal too. The only way I can explain it is almost (but not quite) like you are going to start but of course it never comes. Also, as you probably know every pregnant does not have to be the same. I am getting close the the end of my first trimester and I still have smell aversions and smells I love. The worse thing for me is smells of someone cooking. Boobs getting sore....boy don't remind me. If you are asking could you be then it definitly sounds possible. Good luck.

Sounds like pregnancy is a definite possibility! Dont' count your chickens before they hatch though! The early signs of pregnancy can also be related to premenstrual symptoms and if you really want the pregnancy your body (brain) could be misinterpreting these symptoms.
No one can tell you for sure one way or another. You'll just have to wait until you can do the HPT - even though they can be misleading sometimes too. If it comes up positive, make a doctors appt. right away to start early prenatal care. If it is negative, on the other hand, and you are still experiencing those symptoms, call your doctor for an appointment to have it checked out.
I hope this works out the way you want it to. Good Luck!

The things you are describing are classic pregnancy symptoms...sore breasts, sick feeling with certain smells, super nose...
I know you said you don't want to test yet, but if it makes you feel better I used a first response test either the day before or the day that my period was due and it came back positive. My Dr. later told me that when I tested I was only 2 days-2 weeks pregnant when I took the test.
Good luck!

I do beleive that you are pregnant. I can remember well. I had 2 miscarriages (at 5 weeks) in 2005 and then discovered I was prego in Dec of that year. I delivered in July 2006. Heightened smell and such sounds like hormones. Wait til period is late then go to the doctors. No sense waiting on a home test. Good luck!

I'm 7 weeks pregnant, and I had a lot of the same symptoms. Some light cramping for awhile, sensitivity to smell, sore (and growing) breasts. If you know you know. People had always told me that when you're pregnant, you'll just know. I didn't get that until I was pregnant. Some people might tell you that those are symptoms of your period getting ready to start, but you know your body, and you wouldn't be asking this question if it was your normal pre-period feelings. There's a good chance that you're preggers (and I'm assuming you're trying, had sex during fertile time and all that) But if you're asking if there's room for worry, I'd say no because this all sounds normal. Good Luck! I hope I helped.

Time will tell. I can say though, that with my daughter I knew I was pregnant before I was late. I had similar feelings. Sometimes you just know.
But also on the other end of things, sometimes we want something so badly we start to make ourselves feel it too. The only way you're going to get your answer is to either get a blood test now, or wait until you are late. Nobody here can tell you you're pregnant.
Good luck if this is what you are hoping for.

I didn't have the abdominal pressure, but I could smell everything too. I had sore boobs, cravings, hunger, extreme thirst and moodiness (cried over a haircut lol) all of that was before I missed my period. I took a test a day or two before my period was due and it was faintly positive :) I also had a lack of some of my normal pms symptoms. I didn't get bloated like I normally do beforehand and I also didn't get my normal pre-pms zit on my chin. And I dunno if you would call this a symptom or not, but I had an overwhelmingly powerful urge to take a test.

I'm going to guess and say if your period is due on the 21st, then you are about 10-11 days past ovulation. It's definitely possible to have early symptoms. I wouldn't torture yourself and wait until the 30th to test, take one on Sunday. If you are pregnant and you are having symptoms, you really should have enough HcG to show up on a test. Get a sensitive test like First Response.
