The Meaning of Love offers and explains a definition of love in a way that is interesting, intense, clear, logical, and meaningful. All relationships --love, infatuation, friendship, dating, marriage, family, community, and professional-- involve three key elements:
Emotions --how we feel about each other
Ethics --how good or bad we are for each other
Joys --how much we satisfy or dissatisfy each other
These determine the quality of our relationships; and The Meaning of Love explains how they interrelate, and why attraction --the normally considered most important emotional element and conventional hallmark of love-- is not sufficient to signify a relationship as one of love, no matter how strong or how enduring that attraction may be.

Love is a basic dimension of human experience that is variously conveyed as a sense of tender affection, an intense attraction, the foundation of intimacy and good interpersonal chemistry, willing self-sacrifice on behalf of another, and as an ineffable sense of affinity or connection to nature, other living beings, or even that which is unseen. It manifests itself in feelings, emotion, behavior, thoughts, perception and attitude. It influences, underlies and defines major patterns in interpersonal relationships and self-identification.

hmmm.....dependancy .. is putting it in one word .... but a better word would be symbiosis .... it occurs everywhere in nature
For example a flower and a bee .... the flower lets the bee drink all the honey it wants ... in return the bee transfers it;s pollen to another flower ....and if the bee could speak it would probably say just 3 words " i love flowers " :)
similarly u cling on to ur parents as a kid , to a lover as a adolesent ,family as an adult .... we call it love but it's just symbiosis one depending on the other ..... and that;s the circle of love swts ..... :)
