Now, I'm a science freak, didn't believe in Santa at 3 years old becuase it made no sense to me.
Even so, I've told at least two people I barely knew that they were born about a month early, because they totally did not fit their sign.
So, even if there's something to it, I think it has more to do with the exact hour of conception, and that we can never quite know.
