As long as you are buying a new TabletPC get Windows Vista with it. Windows Vista has better TabletPC support builtin (Windows XP had a special version for TabletPC's). Vista also has better security, search features, and support features.

The Vista Upgrade would be worth it depending on cost. Vista is going to be a good OS, but will, like any other MS produce have bugs to start. if you purchase the vista upgrade they should mail you the disk to do it, you should wait until you here about MS releasing the first patches for Vista and then install the upgrade.

likely no longer vista isn't geared in the route of recuperating photoshop or some thing like that. extra or a lot less marketed in the route of integrating quite some media formats and such. the idea is for homestead windows to be the middle of anybody's the front room. no longer any such undesirable ingredient quite besides the undeniable fact that it truly is no longer gonna help you render pictures any swifter or a lot less annoying. quite, each and anytime microsoft enhancements the operating equipment you could anticipate a tremendous type of bloat and a shrink in performance
