Putting a magnet on your car is doing very little to really support the troops. I was one. They need money when they get out, medical treatment, and jobs. A little respect wouldn't hurt either.

Maybe it means that Wal-Mart supports the troops, and wants you too as well. When Wal-Mart puts something on "closeout" it isn't because they aren't going to carry that product anymore. It just means that the put it as you walk in the door with a huge price-cutter sign so that more people will buy the product.
It's called marketing. and Wal-Mart is good at it.

People must not be buying them. They bought the "support the troops, bring them home now" magnetic ribbon.

Hey I seen those too.Actually I put them on clearance the other day.I never understood those anyways. How is having one on your car supporting our troops. What are we actually doing to support them by having a magnet on our cars in time that will fade away or get blown off at the car wash.

They are probably on sale because they aren't selling well. When something doesn't move, Walmart tends to knock the price down to get rid of it.
