I am 36 weeks and today i was told to go to the hospitol to be checked because my contractions were like 10 minutes apart, well they said i was 3 cm dilated and 60% effaced and that my baby is in the posterior position they told me to lay with m head down and butt up in the air to see if she will turn . Has anyone had a similiar experience??? i wish this would just hurry up!

Your baby could be born soon, or it could be weeks. There are cases of women having contractions ten minutes or even less apart for MONTHS before the baby is born. And yes, gravity CAN help the baby turn, but it doesn't always work. Be sure to call your OB and let him/her know what's going on. Good luck!

properly, 2 weeks is surprisingly speedy. I waited the 6 weeks with my first, and it exchange into variety of uncomfortable. I had no interest in attempting returned for greater or less 2 weeks. My 2d exchange right into a c-area, so i presumed i could be waiting speedier, yet i exchange into incorrect. i attempted at 4 weeks, yet i exchange into sore on the incision area, and had to attend till the 6 weeks that are counseled. each transport is distinctive and human beings heal at distinctive fees. wish this facilitates!

Well, I had an emergency c-section with my 1st and a planned c-section with my 2nd, so I haven't had that experience. If they can't get baby to turn, you may want to go with a c-section. It has it's benefits. You pretty much know exactly what's going on and baby is delivered alot faster. My sister had 5 kids (all vaginal) and she was surprised at how fast I delivered when she came for my 2nd. Anyways, all pregnancies and deliveries are unique - so GOOD LUCK!!!!!! :-)
