I believe there should be no barriers to suing. We all hate frivilous lawsuits but they can and should be tossed out. That said, the right to sue is terribly important to make sure large corporations don't walk all over people. For instance trigger locks are an inexpensive safety feature that gun manufactures could easily implement but it's doubtful they will until it's "cost effective" for them to do so. (They are sued by people enough times and pay out too much $$$.). It seems very sad that gun accidents happen when they could be prevented by something costing a few dollars. There is so much talk about frivolous lawsuits but be careful-when those are limited, the little people will get stomped on by large corporations...

If a bill is passed that allows for compensation by gun manufacturers to the families of a homicide, what's to stop people from suing GMC for a family member being killed in a car accident because the vehicle rolled or whatever?
This question holds no water whatsoever unless you are talking to someone who is just "sue happy". That's a huge problem in our judicial system today - so many ppl are holding up real cases in the system with crap cases just to make a quick buck.
If you're looking for statistics, why not contact Smith & Wesson or other manufacturers to get some real info?

You want someone to write the essay for you? Then what would be the educational benefit to you in that? Google Gun Control, and Gun Manufacturers. You should find plenty of statistics that way. For the record, no, I do not believe gun manufacturers should be held responsible for homicide deaths. There is no criminal intent in the production of a firearm, and the misuse of the firearm is purely the responsibility of the gun owner or handler.

Of course not. That would be like your teacher suing the person who might have written the essay you might have turned in as being your own work.

Hello,
No I don't think they should be allowed, but can sue the person or family (if under age) for wrongful death.

relatively, governments are to blame for keeping their very own borders from invasion and their very own people from crime. to illustrate... individuals are loose to shuttle everywhere. yet, in case you disobey the regulations of the land you shuttle to... you will finally end up in vast worry. The Mexican government is ecouraging this invasion, yet needless to say with the blessing of "our" treasonous government. needless to say, it would be obtainable to evade illegals from working, banking, utilising and searching housing right here. We could be very careful to place the blame the place it belongs. "Our" corrupt, treasonous government is allowing a foreign places invasion of the u . s . a .!!! they could be bumped off at as quickly as and punished for their treason in accordance to The shape. that's the actual situation and the only actual answer!!! The criminals who've overthrown our government like it whilst they are able to confuse us into misdirecting our anger and power someplace else and that they are too regularly useful. Time for us to open our eyes. those criminals at the instant are not our government!!! changing American workers with foreign places slaves isn't loose commerce!!! allowing a foreign places invasion of the u . s . a . is TREASON!!! those are acts of conflict against the yank people by utilising the criminals who've overthrown our government and pose as our government... as they unconstitutionally merge the defense force with regulation enforcement to salary conflict against us as we awaken...

That would make as much sense as Ford getting sued because a drunk driver killed somebody.
