I actually don't know any collage students (collage is a kind of crafty thing to do).

Do you mean college? I didn't avoid my studies and neither did a lot of people I knew. Those who avoided their studies just weren't mature enough yet to really take responsibility for their education and lives.

Since it is not natural for humans to study. From an evolutionary point of view humans are still subject to primitive impulses like the circadian rhythm and the biological clock. Studying to be productive is a modern invention encouraged by society to make the human animal most productive. While some human animals genuinely enjoy the pursuit of knowledge most dont. True learning is known as "knowledge for knowledge's sake" where there is no expectation of accolades or rewards at the end of an enquiry. Current economic systems demand a steady output of standardised brainpower to compete & excel and have devised a formal curriculum whereby education is more of an economic tool rather than an individual endeavour.

But you as an individual have the choice to participate in the charade or blaze your own path. Do you desire a certificate and gold medal upon the completion of your curriculum? Do you expect to be remunerated for your knowledge? Freedom is truly great if you have the courage to embrace it. If on the other hand you are still influenced by social paradigms then you have no choice but to study.

As a student I can tell you this by experience,
The pressure from teachers, peers and family members sometimes make my life miserable which lead to procrastination. Eventually sometimes I do not study. Also I think you people like me have a lot of wired things in our mind…. Sports, computers, etc, etc. When these things occupy our mind we just ignore the studying part.

It is not like that
all the college students are not avoiding studies
only few who are lazy and not interesting in the studies do so .
for ex:In our college out of 132 members almost 100 members study well.
it is like that
so i think that it depends on the individuals personality.

The college students I knew who avoided their studies did it because they didn't have to pay for anything so it didn't matter that money was wasted paying for class and books. Also they didn't care that someone would have to pay again for them to repeat the classes.

People work harder and appreciate it more if they have to pay for it themselves.
