some of them pretend to be because they think thats what ppl expect. Some act that way because it gets them far to play dumb. Some really are but no more or less than a brunette. Theyre just told they are stupid all their lives with the blonde jokes and by the time they grow up, they believe that about themselves.

I'm a brunette ,but i don't think blonde's are Stupid ,I'm just not sure why they act ,examples You Think Paris Hilton is Stupid with all that money i bet she went to best schools unless she ate the books ,or Jessica Simpson Is chicken of the sea tuna or chicken .
I bet she laughs all the way to the bank if she can find the bank.

the 'stupid blonde' stereotype started out as a joke.. but for some reason blondes then started to live up to their stereotype name. I think most of them just act stupid for attention.

It's just a stupid stereotype,than people thinks,but they are also:people with black hair is evil,brown hair nerds or ignored,red or orange hair is timid or sex expert.Anyhow may you have to ask this to a blonde person,but i knew blondes(guys and girls)than are idiots as blondes than be intelligent.

No. Blonds are not really stupid because my friend is blond and she is one of the smartest kids in my class.

are u for real...my best friend is a natural blonde and shes just got a first class degree from manchester university in law!!! he mum is blonde also (natural)....shes a cardiologist!!!! puuulllllleeaasee that blonde thing is just a stereotype...not to say..u get some very very stupid brunettes and red heads!!!

Some are, just like some brunettes and red heads are.
Like the typical cheerleaders who dye their hair blonde so that they look "cool, popular and sexy" and the ones who say "Only blonds, like us, are beautiful and popular", those r stupid.
But I think the ones even DUMBER are the guys who only like blondes, those r REALLY stupid.

p.s. My hair is honey dark blond, and I like it, but I hate light blond, I just don't like it.. it's just a question of taste.

blondes are not stupid. This comes from when girls who act stupid, like in LA, usually dye their hair blonde.

Not all of them. Just like Brunettes and red heads are not all stupid. Or all clever. My friend is blonde and she is certainly not stupid.
