I certainly will BOYCOTT Carphone Warehouse, but I think we still need to watch Big Brother, to show are suipport for the charitites money is being raised for and also for SHilpa---hopes she wins!!!
Also if we don't watch how do we know if BIG brother or the others are still treating her this way--so what if the viewing figures go up-- Its not coz we enjoy watching it anymore quite the opposite

Not so sure about Carphone Warehouse, I would like to hear they are withdrawing sponsorship though, but as for the programme it should have been killed off 2 years ago, overinflated has-beens or wannabees acting like kids with no supervision

Absolutely. And with any luck they'll can any ideas for future series.
Carphone Warehouse are already talking about pulling their £3 million sponsorship too.

OK, I didn't see the programme. I suppose it's fair game if I tell a Geordie, Scouse or Brummie to speak English. But, given the language capabilities of the average UK citizen, should we not make some allowances for people whose mother tongue is not south-east English? It seems that we understand the President of the USA even when he doesn't understand himself!
I am multi-lingual, and that means that I understand English from Belfast to Cape Town, French from Quebec to Tahiti, Spanish from Barcelona to Lima and Turkish from Sinkiang to Istanbul.
When I speak English, I am also aware of the occasional northern vowel, but most people understand me.
Let the person without sin cast the first stone. If those women, who made the remarks are fluent in Hindi, without accent, then their comments were not racist. If not...., The people of India should understand that the programme is not worth commenting on. It might be interesting to know how many of the complainants were ethnically Anglo-Saxon or equivalent - you might be surprised. My bet is that not all of them had their roots in the British Raj.

That's the advantage of living in a free society, unlike other countries who's programme makers are state controlled, We may all think its racist and goes against our way of thinking, but at least we have the chance to view such crap, although i chose not to and have not watch it for a few years, as my life is more important than watching people being such bigots

Yes and the sponsors who have advertising time. Or warn the sponsors that they are paying for racism ratings. I am trying to raise awareness and encourage this kind of boycotting.
