I've read pretty much all of them, however, it seems like his writing has pretty much taken a turn for the worse (but I'm sure he's built up enough reputation, that it won't hurt his book sales any). His books started going to cr@p around "Insomnia" (which actually trying to read would put me to sleep in about 5 minutes).

Stephen King a great writer. He is boring at times but still a great writer. I cannot read all of his books because they go to slow or I just cant get into them. I feel the same way about Dean Koontz. My favorites my Stephen King are "IT" and " Gerald's Game"

Love Stephen King - I've read most of his books, most of them twice.. My favorites are the Stand, the Dead Zone, and his novella (under the pen name Bachman) The Long Walk .. absolutely amazing story.. His writing is straightforward and puts you where you need to be..

You want to talk bad writing? Read the Da Vinci Code.. Man, that was terrible - he actually used the word 'concurrment' .. seriously.

"Needful Things"...one of the greatest books I've read, by anyone. If you haven't read it, give it a try. Very slow in the first half, but the story comes together and you can't put it down once it gets going. If you've seen the movie, don't worry, nothing has been ruined. The movie contained about 10% of what is in the book.

I was a big Stephen King fan back in the day. I haven't read much of his new stuff (he writes way too fast for me!) but It is still one of my all-time favorites. And I love his short stories and novellas.

I'm a huge Stephen King fan. I'm a bit behind though and haven't read any of his new stuff. I'm working on it though. My favorites are the ones with Roland....Know which ones I'm talking about?

I'm pretty much a Stephen King addict. I didn't like Christene, Bag of Bones or Pet Cementary but that's about it. I loved all the others (even Dreamcatcher).

His lastest one, Lisey's Story, I think is one of the best

I've read almost ALL of them, I'm a huge fan. I've probably read IT about six times and I've loved his work ever since I picked up 'The Eyes of the Dragon' when I was thirteen. I've even read the Dark Tower series twice through, all seven books! :)

I agree with the other responder- I admire SK and his works, but as of late, his books have been less than desirable. I do agree that the "Lisey" book was excellent, though.
